Russell Architecture Ltd. is a professional architectural consulting firm located in Sherwood Park, Alberta and has a wide range of planning and architecture experience. We provide expanded architectural design knowledge and technical skills, direct access to a principal, team cover-off and, support and commitment to the integrated-team approach.
Russell Architecture Ltd. has the expertise and capability to provide a full range of services to our clients. These services include: preliminary feasibility studies and programming, schematic design, design development, contract documents, tendering and construction administration, and finally post-construction services. We also provide interior design services, furniture selection and tendering, and graphic design (signage).
Our diversified practice includes work ranging from small-scale residential projects to major planning studies, architectural and LEED sustainability projects. Our search for the fundamental principles inherent in each problem — regardless of the scale — is open and innovative, incorporating the wide-ranging contributions of various members of the firm, consultants, and our clients.
We provide LEED® Facilitation & Documentation in sustainability, which consists of
- Ongoing review of drawings and meeting minutes during design phase to identity potential problem areas prior to construction.
- Tracking all LEED® progress from each project team member.
- Providing individual LEED® credit lists to all the project team members. Project Team members are to refer to this credit list while completing LEED® Letter Templates.
- Collecting all submittals including LEED® Letter Templates and incorporating them into a Master LEED® document for the project.
- Advising on overlapping elements between architectural design and LEED design maximizing benefits.
- Final submission preparation including coordination of Contractor/Consultant/Client submission materials.
- Russell Architecture Ltd. will provide the client with an electronic copy of the final submission in PDF format for file/record purposes.
As the prime architect Russell Architecture Ltd. also attends regular design and construction meetings to keep the LEED® documentation on track and answer any questions as they arise.
Russell Architecture Ltd. is a member in good standing of the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC), and the Alberta Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council. Our team of Design professionals are dedicated LEED®AP accredited projects.
